ReelKeeper: Fishing Log

A fishing log that also tells you whether you can keep it.

Record every catch — species, length, bait, spot and photo — then check it against bundled Florida FWC and Texas TPWD rules. ReelKeeper returns a keep, release, closed-season, protected or not-enough-data verdict, shows the size, season, bag and possession rule it applied, and links the agency source so you can check it yourself. It marks a rule as unverified rather than pretending to certainty it does not have.

Free

The logbook is unlimited and free forever, and so are the trophy room personal records and their share cards, the full species field guide with protected- and toxic-species warnings, and the regulations browser with its sources. The free tier also includes a daily allowance of keep-checks and guided species look-ups.

Paid

Pro removes the daily caps on keep-checks and guided species look-ups, and adds the guided length-range and estimated-weight step so a verdict is scored against the fish you actually measured rather than an assumed size.

ReelKeeper Pro is US$4.99 per month or US$49.99 per year, each with a 7-day free trial. Prices in other countries are set by the App Store and shown before you buy. Catches you have already logged stay free to view and keep. Subscription options auto-renew unless cancelled in Apple Settings → Subscriptions.

Privacy

ReelKeeper runs entirely on your iPhone. Catches, photos, personal records and the cached rule packs are stored locally and the app makes no network requests. Sign in with Apple is offered but optional — the app is fully usable without an account. Jurisdiction is chosen by you from a list; the app does not read your location. No advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs or contact upload. Keep rules change: always confirm against your state agency before keeping a fish. Full privacy policy.
