Privacy Policy — ReelKeeper: Fishing Log

Last updated: 2 August 2026

ReelKeeper runs on your device

ReelKeeper makes no network requests. Catches, photographs, personal records, the species guide and the cached regulation packs are all stored and evaluated on your iPhone.

Optional account

Sign in with Apple is offered but is not required — the app is fully usable without an account. If you do sign in, deleting your account from Settings removes your local catches and profile.

Camera and photo library

ReelKeeper asks for camera and photo library access so you can attach a photograph to a catch. Photographs stay on your device.

Location

ReelKeeper does not read your location. You choose the jurisdiction for a keep-check yourself from a list.

Purchases

If you buy ReelKeeper Pro, Apple processes the StoreKit subscription and shares only the purchase state needed to unlock paid features. We never receive your card details.

What we do not collect

ReelKeeper does not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, contact upload, microphone access or cross-app tracking.

Delete data

Delete the app from your iPhone, or use account deletion in Settings. Email support@keenshift.ai for help.

Regulations

Bundled rule packs are a convenience, not an official publication, and the app labels a rule set that has not been agency-verified. Confirm current rules with your state agency before keeping a fish.
